This page links to conservative and Republican websites in Alaska.  Explanation below.

These initial reference lists will grow and be adapted into custom search tools for quick research across such websites on any topic.  Suggestions are welcome

December 23, 2010 - Alaska court refuses to overturn sen. vote results - Given the way that Murkowski has already been voting like a Democrat to empower Harry Reid's agenda in the lame duck Congress, Alaskans should be embarrassed by their choice.  When even Sen. Lindsay Graham is critical of Republican capitulation in the lame duck Senate, you have a real problem.
November 24, 2010 - Feds set aside 'critical habitat' for polar bear - Everybody who voted for Murkowski, don't whine about what this administration is going to do to Alaska. You're on your own.
November 17, 2010 - Murkowski becomes 1st write-in senator since '54 - Lesson learned?  The so-called, self-appointed national Tea Party "leaders" need to recognize that their national agenda as an interest group may not match the agenda of state or local voters as they choose their own representatives for state or federal government positions.

The victories in 2010 did not come from national endorsements and money, but from effective local organizing to develop strong voter relationships in support of principled candidates, whether "experienced" or well-funded or favored by the media or GOP party insiders or not.  If the GOP organizations in a state or district are really effective, such as through precinct committeemen who have developed strong voter relationships and support, then they deserve respect.  If not, the local groups need to become better organized, better funded, and more responsive to voters to earn their trust at election time with good candidates rather than slick or vague campaign rhetoric or ad campaigns.

There were many victories in 2010, but we can and must do better in 2012 - and that doesn't mean giving more power to "leaders" who want to influence elected officials in Washington like any other lobbyist. The key is to build more responsive local voter networks than either the GOP or Democratic organizations. Rather than rely on the media or party organizations to inform voters about issues and candidates, we need to organize volunteers as the watchdogs and create our own communication channels online to share information and ideas directly, as thie Tea Party movement has done.

November 8, 2010 - Murkowski on cusp of win; how will she legislate?
October 20, 2010 - After Alaska primary upset, missteps cost Miller - It's not hard to figure out who the liberal media want to win, given their relentless efforts to discredit Joe Miller.
September 21, 2010 - Senate GOP moves to strip Murkowski of Energy post  GOP donors should also ask for their money back, as with Crist in FL.
September 18, 2010 - Sarah Palin: Primaries are over, GOP must unite
September 18, 2010 - Murkowski mounting write-in bid for Alaska Senate - Sore loser.  Hopefully Alaskans will completely reject her this time as a clear signal to others in the GOP.  If she won't respect the primary voters, then voters should show no respect for her campaign.
September 1, 2010 - Write-in option poses challenge for AK senator - If she tries a write-in campaign, Alaskan voters should send a clear message by not voting for her. If she pulls in less than 1% of the vote, that would be ideal as a signal to other Republican losers to respect primary elections. Nobody should be anointed by party leadership as though the seat belonged to them. Elections should be competitive, rather than rigged, so that voters have a meaningful choice. If it looks like a game of marked cards, controlled by party insiders, then new talent won't emerge except through leadership deals and special interest money rather than tough competition. That's bad.
September 1, 2010 - Sen. Murkowski's defeat marks major tea party win - If Murkowski was such a class act, it sure didn't show recently when she lost.

Many politicians who earned some respect in the past have lost it by their actions in recent years. McCain is a good example. When it takes $20 million to buy enough votes to win a primary, it's time to do the honorable thing and retire.  A Senate seat is not a career entitlement program.

In business, professionals groom their successors for leadership and then pass the baton. They plan to step aside as a smooth transition so that the organization can keep moving forward.

In politics, arrogant individuals cling to power at any cost - leaving problems in their wake when they are eventually defeated by a critic in the other party, rather than a well-prepared successor who has a proven track record. That's like leading a company to the point at which a hostile takeover and disruptive reorganization under new management is the only way out.
June 2, 2010 - Palin endorses GOP challenger in Alaska Senate
February 4-6, 2010 - Did you miss the first National Tea Party Convention in Nashville?  If so, links to coverage of the event are shared at the above.  Sarah Palin was the featured keynote speaker at this event arranged by Tea Party Nation .

May 28, 2009 - Obama moves to curb road-building in forests - Comment: Note that, buried at the end of this story, is the point that the main impact of this change is to block a project in Alaska.  Of course, that's not politically motivated.  Which part of the Constitution provides this authority?

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee participated in various Tea Party and MeetUp events.
The Tax Day Tea Party website listed events associated with the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition sponsors, who supported the organization of most of the first Chicago Tea Party protest events on February 27.  New sponsors include American Solutions (ties to Newt Gingrich) and other groups.
Tea Party protests were also sponsored by FreedomWorks in many cities on various dates.
American Family Association also set up a new website - TEA - Taxed Enough Already - which listed over 1000 local "Tea Party" protest organizers nationwide prior to April 15.  This was followed by another new website for their own July 4 Tea Party protest plans - www.TeaPartyDay.com
Another source of information about Tea Party protests and other local initiatives or contacts in many states can be found through the "Patriotic Resistance" - http://www.resistnet.com .

Team Sarah is an independent social networking site aimed at women who remain supportive of Governor Sarah Palin.  www.TeamSarah.org
Another site promoting Palin for President in 2012 is We Need Palin  www.weneedsarah.org
There is also a "SarahPAC" site at www.sarahpac.org  but it seems dubious, with little real content.
"How Obama Got Elected" is a website promoting a "Media Malpractice" documentary film by talk show host and author John Ziegler, including interviews of Sarah Palin about the election.  It also promotes his 2005 book, "The Death of Free Speech", which also addresses broadcast media bias.

The purpose of these tools is to make it easier for conservatives to find what their elected officials, political peer groups, and commentators are saying and doing on topics of interest to them at the time.

This will be similar to the Search: Americas tools created at www.ShortListNews.com , which make it easy to search across many economic development or chamber of commerce websites, such as to find timely information about the local business investment climate as shared by these promotional groups.  There are also more comprehensive state economic development directories at www.gdi-solutions.com

There are also similar search tools for research across the websites of many professional services related to capital investment projects which create or save jobs in new or existing business locations.
