October 17, 2010 -
O'Donnell says GOP establishment not helping her - Despite a
recent national fundraising pitch in which the NRSC claimed to "get it"
and support conservative candidates, they're pulling money out of races
such as Marco Rubio in FL and giving $2 million to their RINO friends
such as Mark Kirk in Illinois. Meanwhile, they gave token support
to O'Donnell because they are obviously convinced that she cannot win.
They seem content to let her lose. |

GOP tea party backer defends Christine O'Donnell - Mike Pence (R
- IN) shows some courage by pointing out that the "silly season" attacks
are irrelevant this year. |
|
September 19, 2010 -
Bill Maher digs up O'Donnell 'witchcraft' clip - after which she
cancelled scheduled appearances on Fox News Sunday and Face the Nation.
Note how the AP keeps using the worst possible file photo of O'Donnell
despite many better ones readily available. See
Michelle Malkin's blog for her remarks about the misleading
context of this video clip.

about the story |

September 17, 2010 -
O'Donnell says 'we're passionate' not 'wing nuts' - Note that
Bill Maher posted a rather embarrassing 1999 video about witchcraft, and
promised that others will follow. |

No personal attacks: O'Donnell opens fall campaign |
|
September 16, 2010 -
Castle blames Rush and Hannity for his loss - What about Mark
Levin? Castle has been hanging around liberals for too long - he's
looking for an oppressor to justify his own failure as an innocent
victim, rather than facing up to the fact that he deserved to lose. |
|
September 14, 2010 -
Tea party-backed O'Donnell wins upset in Del. - Castle wasn't
exactly gracious in defeat. As with the recent Murkowski defeat in
Alaska, the GOP leadership still doesn't seem to "get it".
Principles matter. Mike Castle has done many good things during
his long career, but his votes in recent years reflected poor judgment
and the sort of RINO deals in the Senate which voters are very angry
about, because they undermine the principles of the party nationally.
Hot Air blog - Fox News:
NRSC won't spend a dime on O'Donnell - Will they spend more on
Mark Kirk, or John McCain? Time to send a message to the NRSC
leadership - by donating to Jim DeMint's
Senate Conservatives Fund PAC.

O'Donnell scores huge upset in Delaware
Big night for tea party: O'Donnell wins Delaware The
attacks on her were another "end justifies the means" exercise by party
leaders who are more concerned with their own return to power rather
than conservative principles. She may not be a perfect candidate, but
neither are they. Voters are tired of rigged primaries with no
choices.
Reuters: "Tea Party" wins Delaware Republican
Senate primary - quickly becomes a more negative story angle -
Republican Senate chances dealt blow in Delaware - Remember, the
GOP confidently predicted she couldn't win the primary a few weeks ago.
Even is she does lose in November, would Mike Castle have been better?
Why not trust voters? |
|
September 13, 2010 -
One more time: The GOP vs tea party challengers - One hot race. |
|
September 12, 2010 -
GOP tries to take out tea party-backed candidate - Or: Tea Party
tries to take out GOP-backed candidate. It all depends on your
point of view. This poses a dilemma for the news media, however,
who clearly despise both and relish any divisive quarrels over
principles.
Tea Party Express labels FEC complaint "smear campaign" -
More evidence, if any was needed, of why voters need to stand up to the
GOP leadership which has violated the spirit if not the letter of its
own party rules (see
RNC Rule 11 ) about primary elections by openly advocating for
Mike Castle. This also illustrates why we need to be worried that
a few GOP Senators may yet cave in and approve rather than filibuster
the DISCLOSE Act, which basically serves to undermine freedom of speech
and the development of grassroots groups. We dare not trust them
to not sell out our freedom of speech to cut a deal or save their own
careers. Every Senate vote is critical. |
|
September 9. 2010 -
Tea Party favorite unsettles Delaware GOP - The national GOP
leaders should stay out of primary races. It's one of the party
rules. It's all up to voters in the state.
Individual endorsements are OK as information, like what
Sarah Palin or celebrities such as Mark Levin have done, but for
GOP leaders to vilify
Christine O'Donnell
is inappropriate. Just inform voters - don't smear others.
The GOP leadership is acting like a bunch of spoiled brats just because
their attempt to anoint Mike Castle as the Senate candidate may be in
jeopardy. They have seen other RINOs go down to defeat in the
primaries, and now fear Castle might lose, too.
Leave primary election-rigging to Democratic Party
leaders. Let Republican voters choose. |
