|
September 23, 2010 -
Coats: Try repeal, then 'move on' . No. Escalate.
Block funding. Block other programs of importance to Obama.
Do not accept that a veto is the final word on the subject. Raise
the cost of a veto to a politically unacceptable level so that it cannot
be sustained. The Dems were completely intransigent when forcing
this down our throats. Be just as firm in fighting to repeal it. |

May 18, 2010 -
Indiana Rep. Souder says he'll resign
over affair - Note that by resigning after the primary, rather than
before, the party insiders rather than voters get to pick his
replacement |
|
February 19, 2010 -
Dem. Rep. Ellsworth to run for Bayh Senate seat - Comment:
Surprise, surprise. It didn't take the Democratic Party leadership
that long, after all, to come up with somebody to anoint as their new
favorite once it would not involve a primary fight. Don't give
voters a real choice! Instead, trust the party insiders to tell
Indiana voters what is in their best interests, as usual. |
|
February 15, 2010 -
Indiana Dems face tough task replacing Bayh on ballot
- Comment: Note that the state central
committee now gets to pick their own favorite nominee, in true statist
tradition. |
|
February 15, 2010 -
Source: Indiana's Evan Bayh to retire from Senate
- Comment: Time to retire rather than face
defeat. Watch how quickly the party leadership now anoints a
potential successor, without the need for a messy primary fight that
would confuse Democratic voters with a real choice. |

Obama and GOP differ over recipe for jobs, economy - Comment: US
Rep Mike Pence (R-IN) responds in the weekly radio address at
Thanksgiving. Obama's plan is to have another photo op - the "jobs
summit" this week - to pretend that he is doing something useful. |
|
November 21, 2009 -
Dems have 60 for health care; Lincoln a 'yes' -
Comment: OK, voters, if you hadn't figured it out already, we
need to work on defeating every Senator who voted for this.
They can pretend to have principles and to care about what voters think,
but they obviously don't. Vote them ALL out. Don't think
that it was just 3 or 4 "moderates" who betrayed your trust. It
was ALL of them. That includes Senator Evan Bayh. Get ready
for the
May 4, 2010 primary! |
